Monday’s adventure at the Edge

Published By on December 18th, 2004 in Edge Insider

Well the time has finally come that our past summer guides are doing a new type of guiding. I watch from my window as a team of graceful dogs pass with there mushers yelling “G” and “Haw”.

Liz and her team of dogs plan to arrive at my house at 7 am on Monday morning for a two hour ride out the Edge where will join the gang in proceeding to our new Prospector Tent area

for our guests this winter. Vicki and her family plan to spend the day snowshoeing the trail in preparation for the dogs to arrive. This will make our lives a bit easier while lugging

poles and other necessary gear.

My first experience dogsledding should be an exciting one. I’m very much looking forward to Liz showing me the ropes. What a great way to get outside and enjoy the winter season.

Be sure to watch for my update on how our day’s adventures turn out!
