Our friends across the bay, Canadian Wilderness Trips base camp, is hosting a wilderness adventure race on Saturday, September 4th.
Paddle To a Cure Adventure Race benefits breast cancer research.
Contact Terry Graham or Ally Myers at 705 386-2211 to participate in this first annual event. Registration is just $25/p or $45/team of two.
There will be both a team event and an individual race happening at the same time. Each event will involve swimming, canoeing, biking, and running with wilderness navigation on the Forgotten Trails. The entire course can be completed by all participants within 4 hours. The event will include morning high energy snacks as we go over course and route details with participants.
The race will take place from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm.
After the event there will be a fantastic sauna to sooth tired muscles. Canadian Wilderness Trips will also host the BBQ dinner and social evening, including the final awards ceremony.
You need not have participated in an adventure race. This event is beginner friendly for those eager to help raise funds for a great cause and have some fun.
