It has been busy times here at the EDGE. While Todd and Martha have been away, Wendy and I have been trying to meet the challenges of the daily operations. It turns out that this has been a great team building opportunity. Only having each other to rely upon, we have become a well oiled machine. One of our recent projects was updating this winters Making Tracks program. Discussing the program, and its elements has me looking forward to the snowy days of winter. I can hardly wait to go on a backcountry snowshoe, or wax up the cross country skis for a day out on the trails. Winter is a great season for those who know how to make the most of it, and the Algonquin area has no shortage of opportunities.
We have also taken our Team Building exercises externally from the office. Last night Wendy and her boyfriend Chris, delivered a load of firewood at my house. There we perfected our team wood piling techniques. While Wendy may be dainty, do not underestimate her wood piling abilities.
Firewood is piled, winter tires are on, LET IT SNOW!
