After a couple of quiet days it’s back to hosting some unique events at the Edge this weekend. Quest for Balance is full once again, and Judy and Stephanie look to share a balanced combination of yoga, NIA, and sea kayaking. Global Journeys, a rather large group of youth from Toronto travel to the Edge this weekend to participate in a canoe trip into Algonquin Park. Cindy, Jen, Dudly and Wendy are hoping to stir up some howls from the wolf pack on Craig Lake.
Midweekend, Martha joins up with visitors who are heading into a remote lake in this part of Algonquin Park for a Vision Quest. This six day trip is designed to inspire participants to live the life they dream for themselves and builds on a pan cultural tradition of heading into nature for personal inspiration. This trip has been full for months and Martha will be ably assisted by guide and friend Chris Sheridan.
Of course supporting it all, our kitchen team lead by Greg Waters and Vicki Arsenault will have mouths watering with wonderful meals planned for all events.
Tim has been busy for months preparing for his part in the ensemble cast for Beauty and the Beast which opened last night in North Bay. We’re looking forward to going to see the show on Friday night. Greg and Vicki were quite impressed calling the show absolutely professional and the costumes amazing. Tim, we’re all proud of your efforts, go break a leg!
