Winter has arrived. It’s -17 C, this morning on the edge of Algonquin Park. The ice reaches from shore to shore and we’ll see no more open water until April.
That means its time to get the skiis, kicksleds and snowshoes out and get ready for some Algonquin Park Winter adventure.
Mark and Wendy have been busy updating Web sites with new Algonquin Park Canoe trip events for next summer and putting new Winter themes together including a snowshoeing/yoga event called the Zen of Winter and Dog sledding for winter groups.
Martha is also hosting a winter gathering of her first two year group here on the Edge of Algonquin Park. If you are in Toronto, stop by and say hi to the Northern Edge Algonquin gang at the Whole Life Expo at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre this weekend, November 25-27th, 2005.
