Ontario’s Near North was hit by a wind and rain storm that knocked down many large trees and caused power outages across a wide area from Sudbury to Mattawa and the northwestern corner of Algonquin Park. At the Edge, it’s business as usual as our mainhouse and retreat are self-powered with solar power and a back up generator, while our office was slowed for a few hours earlier today.
Things got back to normal with phone and electricity at 1:30 pm in South River and this part of Algonquin Park had a splendid day with a clear blue sky and comfortable temps in the mid 20’s.
