The day was perfect and the recommendation from our hosts Sue Rendall and Bob Hicks (Gros Morne Adventures) to head up the Gros Morne coast to Cow Head and snow shoe out to the lighthouse couldn’t have been better. My mom, Linda (picture taker) greatly enjoyed the opportunity to shoot images of snowbound fishing boats, nets, sheds.
Tim, Martha and I were appreciating the landscape with the Long Range Mountains of Gros Morne National Park on one side and pans of buckled ice on the St Lawrence.
Tim removed his snow shoes to climb the old lighthouse stairs to get a view.
