Fall Colours in Algonquin Park – Heart of Gold

Fall Colours in Algonquin Park beckon
Earlier this month, Martha and I had the special privilege of paddling from Kioshkokwi Lake at Kiosk home to Northern Edge Algonquin. The four day Algonquin Park trip is across large lakes with relatively short portages. During September Fall Colours time, the scenery is spectacular.
The fall colours are just starting now, paddlers are few and far between, and the days are sunny, warm and clear, and the nights are cool, misty mornings listening to the calls of the loon are breathtaking.
Waterfall rapids beckoned us to sit by the water and listen to its stories on the few portages
In just a few days and weeks this landscape will be completely transformed as autumn takes hold. We offer a few special trips this September that provide inspiration and time to appreciate this special Park we call home – Algonquin.
There is no better way to experience the colours of the season than by slipping into the misty morning and exploring from the lakes, rivers and streams.
Please consider joining us for rejuvenation and inspiration this September:
Fall Colours Wolf Howl Canoe Trip (4 days) or Heart of Gold (seven days in Algonquin Park)
Both trips depart Sept 24th.
