Thai Yoga Massage is a beautiful form of therapeutic bodywork that can be modified for almost any person regardless of age, flexibility or size.

At its finest, the body work becomes a rhythmic dance orchestrated by the practitioner and experienced by the client.

Gently and rhythmically, each Thai Massage posture or movement flows into the next. The practitioner softly moves the client into a series of yoga-like stretches where mild, firm or strong pressure techniques are applied using hands, elbows, thumbs, legs, and feet to creating a powerful healing experience.

Thai Yoga Massage is performed on a mat on the floor in the forest; both client and practitioner are dressed in comfortable clothing allowing ease of movement and flexibility.

We invite you to experience this dynamic, ancient, healing method from the east.

Sarah Arsenault is a Registered Yoga Teacher and well as a trained Thai Yoga Massage practitioner. In 2010 Sarah studied yoga at the Sivananda Ashram in the Bahamas were she gained a solid foundation in a classical yoga tradition while being immersed into a yogic lifestyle. Here she was able to connect with a lineage of peace and healing that has been passed down for ages. While living at the Ashram she was introduced to Thai Yoga Massage, and immediately fell head over heels with the practice (it was love at first touch). After arriving back to Canada, Sarah studied this ancient form of bodywork in both Toronto and Montreal gaining knowledge and experience from widely known and acclaimed Thai Yoga Masters.

Sarah is honored to be offering Thai Massage at The Edge, and looks forward to meeting you on the mat to share in this dynamic form of bodywork.
