Green Living: A Taste of Algonquin Park

Last weekend Greg Waters and Todd Lucier headed to Toronto to share a taste of the Edge – 1000 times over, to visitors to the #FeastON booth at the Culinary Explorer pavilion of the Green Living Show.
What did we serve: Portage Packs (alluding to the canoe packs we stuff and carry into Algonquin Park on our Wildlife Safaris) or on day trips as part of anExplorer’s Cabin package. Gregor’s version was a Pulled Pork Panzerotti featuring Sprucedale Meats, McLaren Maple Syrup, Highlander Brew Co. Ales ~ a taste sensation only available in our part of the world.

Trevor Benson from the Ontario Culinary Tourism Alliance stopped by our booth (sporting a treasured Northern Edge Algonquin t-shirt) to present Gregor with a wooden spoon to recognize our certification as Ontario’s first FeastON member – a designation for food purveyors proudly featuring Ontario food and beverage.
