What is Shamanism?
The spiritual practice of Shamanism dates back tens of thousands of years and was practiced by our ancient ancestors all over the world. With the practice of Shamanism we awaken our indigenous roots; our soul connection to nature. The prevailing belief in Shamanic practice is that all things have a spirit and thus are alive, interconnected and equal in the web of life. Shamanism is a way of living from the heart, honouring our interconnectedness. Stepping through the doorways of our imagination, and exploring through our senses, we access the abilities for healing and problem solving as we connect to our spirit helpers and teachers within.
The Canadian Centre for Shamanic Studies offers Shamanic Training experiences at the Edge of Ontario’s Algonquin Park and beyond. CCSS engages all levels of learning, through all directions and seasons, where we awaken and engage our shamanic abilities to create a brighter future for ourselves and the planet.
